if you didn’t already know, i love yoga. its one of my favorite ways to work out as well as wind down after a long, stressful day. so when i saw free people now has a line of yogawear, i was over the moon and just had to share. i’m loving the cute ruffle leggings and tie dyed tanks and sports bras. nice work free people, nice work.
i went shopping at anthro with my mom and fell in love with this outfit. its a bit more bold than my usual getup but there is something sweet and whimsical about it. i’m in love with these dot pants. they are so comfortable and bold but still classic. definitely a new outfit staple.
easter was amazing as ever (last years post here). despite the rainy weather (rain in california? really?), it was still a lovely day! i went to church and saw francis chan speak which was such a blessing. the rest of my day consisted of eating way too many jelly beans, my mom’s amazing french toast, hanging out with the family and making easter cookies with my cousin. this is not the outfit I intended to wear but i was too cold for a dress so this is what i kept on all day. my cute yellow vintage dress will have to wait for a sunnier day. its hard to believe this is probably my last easter home for four years but it was definitely an easter i will never forget! i leave so dominican republic tomorrow so my easter break is already off to an amazing start. hope you’re easter went well

you know how ke$ha wakes in the morning and feels like p diddy? well i woke up this morning and felt like rayanne graff. i think i’ve been watching far too much my so called life on netflix… anyways rayanne is by far my favorite character and her style is so wild and unique. it’s not only her clothes but the attitude she wears the clothes with that makes her crazy combinations work. this outfit and hairstyle is my interpretation of what rayanne would wear but obviously its pretty toned down. this is my first time wearing this granny sweater and i’m lovin it! its comfortable and warm and the subtle leaf and botanical designs really make it. so here’s to being rayanne

from the title, it probably seems like i’m depressed. the excessive use of blue in my recent posts probably hasn’t helped that assumption but i assure you i’m happy and good as ever! this color of turquoise blue is my new go-to color and it reminds me of summer days spend at the beach (which i will spend my remaining days of high school daydreaming about). this title refers to fleet foxes new brilliant album helplessness blues. if you have not listened to it, please do! it’s so lovely and nostalgic and everything a sophomore album should be. my favorites on the album are the shrine / an argument and helplessness blues.
in other news, i scored this cute little necklace yesterday! i was on my senior class outing to knotts berry farm when i spotted it in one of the indian souvenir shops. it was love at first sight i tell you. since i bought it, i have taken it off only to sleep. so who cares if i didn’t have enough money for lunch… that was ten dollars put to very good use
